AISI 4330V mod. 1.6932 mod. directly from stock & cut to your required dimensions!
AISI 4330V mod. - 1.6932 mod. can be used as a universal quenched and tempered steel in many applications. There is the advantage in high toughness (in deep temperatures also) together increased strength properties. It gets these great properties by Vanadium alloyed modification. The largest amounts of these steel grades are used in Mechanical Engineering (high-strength structures) and is widely used in the oil and gas sector.
Weldability:
AISI 4330V mod. is not suitable for welding constructions, because the welding technology is very special and complicate. If welding is needed, a pre-heating at near 400°C and a post weld heat treating (PWTH) at 600°C is recommended, better is quench and temper anew.

Forged flat material, quenched and tempered, pre machined
The machining by our saws is a mechanical step of processing of this material products, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting. This approach allows finishing of the workpiece by milling or drilling, immediately. So it isn´t necessary to anneal the material or make any similar operation beforehand.
