1.4713 (X10CrAlSi7) directly from stock & cut to your required dimensions!
1.4713 is a ferritic heat-resistant chromium-nickel steel with aluminum addition.
He is hot corrosion resistant up to 800°C , resistant to oxidizing gases containing sulfur and also resistant to carburization.
It is a ferritic steel with only low corrosion resistance, due to the low Cr content.
It is mainly used in furnace construction, for high temperature apparatus-applications, automotive industry and to manufacture chains for the cement industry.
Weldability: conditioned
Machinability: 5 (1 = bad - 10 = good)
Corrosion class: 1 (0 = weak - 5 = good)

Flat, forged, quenched and tempered
The processing with the saw is a mechanical processing of the material, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting.
Thus, the machined workpiece has a homogeneous structure even at the edge, which does not change in the continuation of the material.
This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
