1.4548 (ASTM A564/A705 grade 630) directly from stock & cut to your required dimensions!
The steel grade 1.4548, 17-4PH and the 1.4542 have similar analytical conditions, it is a stainless steel with high yield strength, high wear resistance as well as good corrosion resistance. We currently store this material in Condition H1150 and H1025. Which makes it possible the use in low temperatures.
Excellent impact strength even at minus temperatures!
Due to the combination of corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties, this material 17-4PH is also suitable for use in maritime environments. Whenever the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of martensitic steels are insufficient. In standing seawater is vulnerable to corrosion fissures.
1.4548 is popularly known as AISI 630 and UNS S17400
EU material from stock.
Plant construction, Chemical industry, Wood industry, Offshore, Shipbuilding, Mechanical engineering, Oil industry, Paper industry, Air and water industry. Space travel, sports and Leisure industry.

Flat steel, forged, solution annealed and aged
The processing with the saw is a mechanical processing of the material, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting.
Thus, the machined workpiece has a homogeneous structure even at the edge, which does not change in the continuation of the material.
This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
