1.4410 (ASTM A182 F53 ) directly from stock & cut to your required dimensions!
1.4410 is a corrosion resistant, austenitic-ferritic super-duplex steel. An austenite/ferrite structure and small grain size provide the material with its hardness, strength, and toughness. The super-duplex steel 1.4410, also known as F53, is used for components where conventional austenite and corrosion-resistant duplex steels (1.4462) fail to fulfil the corrosion requirements. The steel is characterised by excellent resistance in media containing chlorine and has been approved in NACE MR 0175 for sour gas applications and granted ASME approval for pressure vessels.
For comparison: Duplex Steel or Super Duplex
Areas of application:
Oil and gas industry, onshore/offshore industry, textile, paper and pulp industry, tank construction, chemical tanker construction and mechanical engineering.
Solution annealed max. 270 HB
Weldability: good
Machinability: 3 (1 = very bad - 10 = good)
(Machining properties are roughly comparable with those of 1.4462)
Corrosion class: 4 (0 = weak - 5 = good)

flat, forged, solution annealed, pre-machined
The processing with the saw is a mechanical processing of the material, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting.
Thus, the machined workpiece has a homogeneous structure even at the edge, which does not change in the continuation of the material.
This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
